Gastroposted via Instagram: “KITKAT & MAPLE SYRUP CINNAMON POMEGRANATE BLACK PEPPER INFUSED CASHEWS CRISPY BACON COOKIE BITES &; tweaked recipe from Sweet Treats & More INGREDIENTS: 2 cups + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 12 tbs butter (melted) 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 2 tsp vanilla KITKAT COOKIE BITES: 1/2 of the cookie dough 1 cup kitkat bits( kitkat pieces) freeze them for a couple minutes so its easier for you to chop or break them without meltin the chocolate MAPLE SYRUP CINNAMON CASHEW&BACON COOKIE BITS 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 cup pomegranate black pepper cashews (chopped coarsely) 1/2 cup crispy bacon bits(coarsely chopped) Instructions Preheat oven to 325. 1. in the deep bowl.sift flour. baking and salt together. 2. in the standin mixer.pour butter and sugar together and mix it till everything is smooth.add egg and egg yolk and vanilla. 3.pour the flour in interval.just till everything is coarsely incorporated. 4. take half of the dough and put it aside. 5. with the remaining dough add maple syrup and the cinnamon and cashews and bacon. mix it for a minute just till everything is incorporated. set aside. 6.with the other set aside dough add the chopped kitkat and mix it with a wooden spoon till all the kitkat incorporate in the dough. 7. line a baking sheet with parchment paper. use a cookie dough scooper for a uniformed sized half balls.scoop each on the baking sheet 8. put in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at the preheat temp then lower to 285 for the rest of 8 minutes to 10 minutes. it depends how reliable ur oven is so trust your eye. if u cant then u need to buy a new oven lol. which not in my budget right now.so good ol reliable eye is ur best option. :P fyi: you can use the base dough to incorporate other chocolate or nuts you like. dont have to be what i use. kisses.m&ms.sneakers. macadamia nuts.white chocolate bits.quick oats. these are the few that i used before… happy baking myloves!😘” by @thispinaycancook | http://instagram.com/p/YBBSAlQblh/
